Winter poetry & photography contest – EXTENDED

Thursday, February 23, 2017 All Day
Located at the Library Open Space
The theme of this contest is winter! Participants are asked to use this theme to write poetry and or take a photo. Submissions are due . They can be submitted in person to the Information Desk or sent via e-mail to pbrogan@ccclib.org
Submissions are due Tuesday, February 28th
From March 1st to March 6th, local English and visual arts teachers will judge the event. After judging, a one hour event will take place on Tuesday, March 7th from 3:30pm-4:30pm to announce winners, runner ups and allow public viewing of submissions.

There will be 3 winners (1st, 2nd, 3rd) for poetry submissions and 3 winners for photo submissions. Prizes will be a mix of 3D printed objects and purchased items. The 1st place winner from each category will have their work displayed in the library.
