Present:

Clare Pooley

The Authenticity Project

In The Authenticity Project, Julian Jessop is an eccentric, lonely, septuagenarian artist who believes that most people aren’t really honest with one another. And so he writes – in a plain, green journal – the truth about his own life and leaves it in his local café. Before long, others find the notebook and add their own deepest truths before finding each other in real life at the café.

Clare Pooley graduated from Cambridge University, and then spent twenty years in the heady world of advertising before becoming a full-time writer. Pooley lives in Fulham, London with her husband, three children and two border terriers.

To register: Purchase The Authenticity Project at Orinda Books online or by phone 925-254-7606 and you will receive the Zoom link to attend this special event. Proceeds benefit the Lafayette Library and Learning Center.
