Join author and editor James Oseland as he prepares easy and delicious recipes from World Food: Mexico City, the first installment of his new book series; professor and home cook James Zarsadiaz will moderate. Guests are invited to cook along during the program; recipes and an ingredients list will be provided. World Food: Mexico City transports readers to the city's greatest home kitchens, markets, and restaurants. The book unlocks the secrets to real Mexican cuisine with over 50 authentic reliable recipes that offer a new way of understanding one of the most exciting food destinations on the planet.

JAMES OSELAND was a permanent judge on all five seasons of Bravo’s Top Chef Masters. He was the editor-in-chief of Saveur, America’s most acclaimed food magazine where his work garnered many accolades, including seven James Beard Awards. His writing has appeared in Gourmet, Vogue, Food and Wine, and the Wall Street Journal. His cookbook Cradle of Flavor was named one of the best books of 2006 by the New York Times. James is a popular cooking teacher and has taught at the Institute for Culinary Education, the New School, and New York City’s Natural Gourmet. He has lived in Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, and India, and now calls Mexico City home.
