Art of Pour II – Painting for Teens

On Tuesdays We TeenCraft!  Art of Pour II - Different types of pours will be explored.

Pour Painting, Fluid Acrylic Painting, Dirty Cup, Flip Cup, Bottle Pour, Puddle Pour, Swipe Technique, Cells, Blowtorch, No Blowtorch etc.. What does it all mean?

Come spend a short afternoon learning how to create some amazing works of art using acrylic paint, some basic tools, and just random luck!  You supply the creativity, we supply everything else, gloves included.  Space is limited.  This program is aimed at those teens that don't mind getting a little paint on them and having fun creating beautiful pieces of art!  Ages 12-18 welcome.

Truffle Making Workshop

Local truffle making experts, Ellen Reintjes and Don Tatzin, will demonstrate how to make your own truffles at home. Spend an evening learning the process, recipes and tools to use. Participants will be working in teams of two.

This is a free event sponsored by the Friends of the Lafayette Library & Learning Center. Ages 18 & over (or 12-17 with an accompanying adult). Space is limited; registration is required. Please note: registration priority will be given to first time participants. Registrants who have attended this workshop before may be placed on a waitlist in order to accommodate first time participants.

Come spend a short afternoon learning how to create neat watercolor "hacks"!  Everyone will be creating some basic studies in color blending and other simple techniques.  You supply the creativity, we supply everything else.  Space is limited.  This program is aimed at teens that don't mind playing with paint and having fun creating beautiful pieces of art!  Ages 12-18 welcome.
