ComicFest 2018 – Free Comic Book Festival

Please join us for a short afternoon of Comic book fun related activities. We’ll celebrate Free Comic Book Day and have free comics and activities for the entire family.  Costumes Encouraged.

  • Meet Special Guest: Bay Area Graphic Novel Artist and Author Thien Pham
  • Take photos with Star Wars Characters courtesy of the 501st Legion.
  • Celebrate Superhero Moms with a Hero inspired Mother’s Day craft!
  • Free Sketches from local artist Sam Filstrup
  • Green Screen Photo booth with props.
  • Make your own super hero / pop culture buttons
    to take home
  • Books and Graphic Novels for Sale by Bel and Bunna’s Books of Lafayette
  • Scavenger Hunt throughout the library. Find the Infinity Gauntlet & other Logos for extra free comics.
  • Vintage Retro Home Videogame Arcade & Exhibit (Atari, Sega, Nintendo, Sony)
