The Red Shoes

An up-and-coming ballerina gives everything to succeed and pays the ultimate price in the classic 1948 Academy Award winning film The Red Shoes. This visually stunning film, starring Moira Shearer, has been called the greatest dance film ever made.

A pre-screening talk by Diablo Ballet’s Robert Dekkers, Resident Choreographer and creator of The Red Shoes, and Artistic Director, Lauren Jonas, gives you fascinating information about the making of this masterpiece and shares details about Diablo Ballet’s world premiere of their live ballet version of The Red Shoes, premiering this May 4th and 5th.

Registration required, $5 payable at the door.
