Which foods and actions contribute to optimal brain health and which do not? What defines a healthy brain? In this talk, Dr. Julita Baker will share a scientific approach to these questions. We will look into the research surrounding the beneficial and unfavorable factors surrounding a healthy brain, and translate these findings into practical nutrition and lifestyle tools for better brain health.

Julita received a Ph.D. from University of California, Davis in Nutritional Biology after shifting from Microbiology working in the Microbial Ecology Program at the Joint Genome Institute. She has designed and taught courses at Stanford University, and is also a nutrition advisor & speaker for organizations, start-ups, and entrepreneurs. She collaborates, deconstructs complex nutritional and behavioral science, and translates research into actionable tools.
