1:00pm Art Presentation
Followed by an art display until 2:30pm

Meet New York contemporary artist Pamela Smilow as she shares stories from her childhood growing up in a community where art, home and life melded. She is the daughter of an award-winning mid-twentieth century furniture designer and grew up in the only fully realized Frank Lloyd Wright community known as Usonia Homes, in Pleasantville, New York.
Smilow’s love for art extends to architecture and interior design. Growing up in an environment that was all about the integration of nature, furnishings and art, Smilow often shares her keen intuition with her clients, working with interior designers and home owners to help them choose the right piece of art for their space.
The art display includes work that draws from Smilow’s large collection of paper, vintage books, fabric, and childhood drawings that add texture, depth and storytelling to her work. Her work is exhibited in galleries and placed in private and corporate collections throughout the United States and internationally. Smilow’s art will be available for purchase.

Tickets: FREE. Registration recommended as space is limited. Or call 925.283.6513 ext. 102.
