Martin & Anne
Read by Nancy Churnin
Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and Anne Frank seem to be from different worlds, different lifetimes, but they were born the same year, 1929. Across the ocean, they faced similar racial discrimination and reacted to that hate with words of love, reaching out to build understanding rather than divisiveness.
Martin & Anne is a beautifully illustrated story that shares the powerful, inspiring stories of two peacekeepers whose messages of goodwill encourage all of us to choose kindness whenever we can.
After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the webinar.
This program is made possible thanks to financial support from the Lafayette Library and Learning Center Foundation.
The LLLC Foundation in collaboration with the Lafayette School District has arranged for Nancy Churnin to read Martin & Anne to students on January 13. The LLLC Foundation has donated a copy of Martin & Anne to each of the 4 Lafayette Elementary School Libraries.
