Priti Patel, MD is Vice President and Chief Medical Information Officer at John Muir Health. A family physician by training, Dr. Patel leads the health system's clinical informatics, artificial intelligence, and digital transformation efforts. She is passionate about helping healthcare professionals understand how AI is already being used in healthcare today, where it can add value, and the guardrails needed to ensure it is used safely, ethically, and effectively.
