About the Event

Please join us in celebration of the AAPI month and Dragon Boat Festival with the San Francisco Gu-Zheng Music Society. The music society was established in 1983 and has performed at public libraries, museums, schools, colleges, tourism bureau events, and senior and care centers.

Gu-Zheng also known as the Chinese zither, is a traditional Chinese plucked string instrument with a history spanning over 2,500 years. Many new forms of the gu-zheng appeared through cultural exchanges in other Asian countries.

The one-hour performance will include classical folk songs and newly composed songs.

More information about the society can be found at https://www.guzheng.org/
