The Sweet Thursday Author Series will host Adam Plantinga author of The Ascent on April 18, 2024, at 7:00 pm in the Don Tatzin Community Hall.
Ever wonder how realistic those hardboiled detectives in novels are? Author Adam Platinga knows firsthand all about the world of crime and justice. He is currently a sergeant with SFPD, and also graduated magma cum laude with a B.A. in English and Criminology/Law Studies. His debut novel 'The Ascent' is lauded as one of the most exhilarating thrillers in recent memory.
This program is free, but registration is required at www.tinyurl.com/sweet-April2024. The doors will open at 6:30. Guests are invited to enjoy coffee and sweets before the program. Orinda Books will be on-site sell copies of the book. Sweet Thursday programs are presented by the Friends of the Lafayette Library and Learning Center.
