A firsthand account of the Silver & Black greatness! Part memoir, part history, Al Davis to Win is a fascinating study of key figures in the National Football League. From the perspective of a young worker privy to key moments in football history, Ranahan recounts how the American Football League gained traction within a decade of its inception, merging with the long-established NFL as revealed through the actions of Al Davis, Lamar Hunt, Tex Schramm, and Pete Rozell —Four men worthy of placement on an NFL equivalent of Mount Rushmore.
