About the Event

This Black History Month, let’s shine a spotlight on zoologist and entomologist Charles Henry Turner - a pioneer in the field of insect psychology. In addition to having the coolest mustache ever, Turner proved that insects can learn, remember, see, hear, and solve problems, forever changing how we understand the creepy-crawly world. Visit the Teen Center each week in February to learn about Turner’s studies on roaches, spiders, moths, ants, and bees.

On Sat. 2/28, pick up a pack to make your own silkworm moth (ages 10+ only).
