About the Event
The Cantor Arts Center, located on the campus of Stanford University in Palo Alto, was founded in 1891. The museum houses a collection spanning 5,000 years with more than 38,000 works. Join us for a lecture by Sandhya Rajan, the Community Learning and Engagement Associate, who will share a brief introduction to the Stanford Family Museum, give us a mini tour through a few select objects from their Rodin sculpture collection and the Morris Hirshfield: Rediscovered exhibit, and provide a sneak peek of the upcoming special exhibit, Day Jobs, curated by Cantor’s Executive Director, Veronica Roberts.
