Passport to Kingdom Fungi: An introduction to the wild, weird, and wonderful world of mushrooms and fungi
 

Dr. Gordon Walker brings his passion, scientific knowledge and love for everything fungi as he shares his new book Dr. Fun Guy’s Passport to Kingdom Fungi. The book covers everything from “what are fungi?” to best foraging practices, culinary techniques, and mushroom identification.  He includes profiles of various mushrooms and other fungi, from incredible edibles you can find in the wild to the dangerously toxic, medicinal, and just plain weird.
 

Dr. Gordon Walker is an award-winning speaker, science communicator, and published author. His social media @FascinatedByFungi has amassed over 3 million cumulative followers. Gordon has a PhD in Biochemistry from UC Davis where his research focused on the microbial ecology of wine fermentations and yeast genetics. He is a passionate advocate for mushrooms, fungal conservation, and environmental sustainability.
